After a morning at Beaumont Hamel, an early lunch at Avril Williams’ Tea Rooms was very welcome. We had caught up with a coach party of a Candian Choir who had done a fine job at their Memorial Park. We still found prompt service, wholesome food and it was good to speak to the singers.
There is a reinstated /preserved trench in the back garden, which is worth a look and some militaria collections, that we missed. The ham, egg & chips with a cup of tea was the best bit though!
