My grandfather Arthur Bell was a Foundationer at the Manchester Clerks and Warehouseman Orphan’s School.  The School War Memorial – Roll of Honour continues to be a research theme and I’m hoping to see the Cheadle Hulme School archive published digitally in 2017.

The Co-operative Wholesale Society War Memorial in Manchester became a project last Christmas.  There are extensive records for the Company, which produced a detailed Roll of Honour on The Manchester Regiment Forum.

Merchiston Castle School in Edinburgh provided the backbone of Officers in the 17^th Battalion Manchester Regiment.  Research continues on this Roll of Honour.
