Brilliant photos. We have, like yourelves stayed at Bernafay woods b&b, perfect for walking and cycling the Montauban/Guillemont area.
Thanks Phil,
We stayed in Albert for one night and then with Christine in Bernafay for the second. I got up @ 06.30 and was straight on the battlefields, leaving sleeping beauty snoozing happily. The location, opportunity to walk in the wood, great hospitality and good company in the B&B make it a great venue for night or two. Also good value for money compared with our 3rd night in Ypres, which is a beautiful place, but doesn’t justify London Hotel prices. We live and learn. I’ll also upload the Tour de France passing through Longueval. It was great to see.
